Summer is here, and now is the perfect time to feel body confident, strong, and in love with the skin you're in! This season, we’re offering an 8 week fitness challenge to help you jumpstart your fitness journey—no need to commit to our usual 6-month plan!
Train in our studio 3x per week to unlock new levels of body confidence, fitness and strength, and change the way you feel and move, all in the safe environment of our beautiful studio in Cambridge. No other studio offers the powerful hybrid workout that we specialise in - we fuse the deep muscle sculpting of Reformer Pilates with high intensity interval training. We keep it functional and meaningful and fun!
Our 8 week fitness challenge is designed by our director and physiotherapist Elise Badger so you know it's going to be body friendly and functional.
What to expect in the 8 week fitness challenge:
Week 1 : join our Fitness Assessment class to set a baseline of your functional strength, endurance and power.
Week 2 - 7 : Train 4 x per week in the studio in our small group coaching environment, 8 people maximum in every class with caring coaches there to check your form, encourage and motivate you, and support you every lunge of the way. We recommend our Re-FIIT classes for maximum fitness results but you'll gain strength and fitness in all our class styles.
Week 8 : reassess your strength, endurance and power in our Fitness Assessment class and be amazing at your results in such a short time!

Elise here. I'm the director of Āhua Studio, and I just wanted to drop into this conversation about the Summer Fitness Challenge and let you know why I've created it.
More and more evidence is describing the life lengthening, and indeed life giving benefits of exercise. All exercise is good, but not all exercise is created equal. We know that intensive interval training is powerful for heart and brain health, and that strength training is critical for healthspan and bone density, and we know that a degree of jumping or impact appropriate work is excellent for body composition and bone density. But over the years I've met many physiotherapy clients who have lost confidence in the 'gym' model, and in their own ability to move!
I've created the Re-FIIT exercise method to empower every person to build an injury-resilient body using Reformer Pilates, while also getting the life-giving benefits of strength and interval training.
Our clients who train with us at Āhua Studio have seen body changes like never before and I wanted to create an opportunity for people ready to take control of their fitness, energy and healthspan with our Summer Fitness Challenge.
In physiotherapy, outcome measures are critical to measuring if an intervention is actually working. Without them, we are just throwing things at a wall and seeing what sticks. And I take what we do at Āhua Studio seriously, so with our Fitness Challenge we are bringing in outcome measures with our fitness assessment at the beginning, and the end of the program.
You'll be astounded with your progress in such a short period of time, not just in the numbers, but in how you feel and what you can achieve.
